Joseph Rehill Dies Suddenly in Philadelphia
James F. Rehill and Mrs. O. H. Swanson were summoned to Philadelphia Sunday by word of their brother Joseph Rehill's death. Formerly of this city, he had lived in Pennsylvania for years. His death was reported sudden with few details. Rehill suffered a severe railroad yard accident in Philadelphia years ago, losing a leg to amputation, after which he returned to business.

January Active Month for Frederick County Home Demonstration Clubs
The Frederick county home demonstration program reports 37 meetings with 592 attendees in January. Seven groups held committee meetings dividing focus among gardening poultry clothing seat weaving and rug making. Total adult attendance reached 219 with 95 percent at adult conference and 90 percent at junior. Twenty four 4-H meetings drew 351 youth. Lessons included sewing, poultry culling, new fruit dishes, and community fundraising. Personal service included flock culling sick birds sausage canning and use of a steam pressure cooker. One hundred two home visits 57 letters 56 office contacts 23 press articles 1076 miles traveled and 17.5 days in field. For sale stock hogs Wednesday and Thursday at B&O stock yards.
