Tragic pedestrian crash claims eight year old
Marjorie Laise, eight year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Fred Laise of Bunker Hill, died at City Hospital Martinsburg after being struck by a Ford driven by Calvin Aikens from Gerardstown as she crossed the pike near Bunker Hill school. She sustained a skull fracture and a broken ankle. Funeral services will be private at the Bunker Hill Cemetery with Rev M A Keesecker presiding.

Funeral arrangements set for Friday at 11 from the family home with burial in Wardensville cemetery. Survived by husband Thomas J Finley daughter Mrs Violet Brown of Washington DC and brother H R Heishman Route 2 Winchester. Daughter of the late Samuel Heishman and Malinda Sager.
