Mother Charged With Involuntary Manslaughter in Fire Deaths
Four counts of involuntary manslaughter were filed against Deborah A. Marsh 30 in Norfolk for a fire that claimed four children’s lives. Investigators said an incendiary start by a child playing with matches caused two separate blazes in the home. The victims were Gordon Jr 10 Gerald 8 Nathan 4 and Robert 1 Marsh. The father Gordon Marsh 30 a Navy petty officer was on duty aboard the USS Guam.
