Grand Jury considers pending cases in Frederick County
The Frederick County Circuit Court grand jury adjourned until next Monday with many indictments still to be considered. Four true bills were returned yesterday including John Heflin who pleaded guilty to breaking into C. E. Staples store in Stephens City and received two years, and G. P. Kelty for illegal liquor transportation. A capias was issued for Felty to show cause February 8 why his $500 bond should be forfeited. Felty, said to live in Pittsburgh, transported liquor from Florida to Pittsburgh. 90 quarts were recovered after a wreck near Stephensons. The forfeiture decision hinges on his absence Monday and whether he can be brought back for trial.

Doctor George Swimley Dies at Bunker Hill Virginia
Dr. George W. Swimley aged 89 died at his home in Bunker Hill West Virginia after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at the family residence conducted by Rev.
