Funeral held for Capt William F Edwards B&O conductor
The funeral of Capt William F Edwards a well known B and O Railroad passenger train conductor who died in Lexington Virginia after pneumonia of less than two weeks was held yesterday afternoon. He was born near Summit Point West Virginia and leaves a wife a son and other Virginia and West Virginia relatives. He began his rail career thirty one years ago as a brakeman on the Baltimore and Ohio between Harpers Ferry Alexandria and Lexington.

Train wreck near Creston injures many and recovers five bodies
A fast train from Washington to Quincy derailed on a broken trail, killing five unidentified people and injuring about twenty. Rescue work continues as Pullman cars toppled off a 40 foot embankment. Ten to twelve seriously hurt were taken to Creston hospital. The engine tender and smoking car remained on the rails while the observation car left the track but did not overturn. Mr and Mrs Robert Forney arrived from McKeesport Pa to visit relatives.
