Bank Robberies Hit Three States in One Day
On February 2 robbers struck three banks in New Jersey Massachusetts and Texas. In Penns Grove New Jersey bandits stolen about 130000 from two messengers near Main and Oak streets. In Needham Massachusetts a patrolman was killed and multiple shots fired as bandits escaped with around 10000 from the Needham Trust Company. In Coleman Texas three men robbed the First National Bank taking about 35000 and abducting six employees before fleeing two blocks away.
