Funeral Rites Held for Knickerbocker Theater Victims
Funeral services were held today for sixteen Virginia residents killed in the Knickerbocker Theater disaster in Washington. Miss Helen Dortch of Berryville was buried at Grace Episcopal Church with interment at Green Hill Cemetery. Her family ties include Tyson Dortch, Dr. Allen Dortch, and Major Lloyd Williams. The day also saw the burial of Capt and Mrs Conroy Vance of Mannsfield Hall near Fredericksburg.
