Famed Almost Fatal To Young Lady
Miss Rose A. Janney narrowly escaped death from coal stove gas at her South Main street home in Winchester. She was unconscious nearly a day but regained consciousness and was declared out of danger this afternoon. Drs. E. C. Stuart and Charles R. Anderson treated her as Mrs. Hicks, who was not affected, opened windows and doors to ventilate the room. Miss Janney, daughter of the late Dr. Edward Janey, has lived in Winchester for several years.
