Clarke County路 Fatality Routs Third 1957 Death
A 22 year old Bluemont man Thomas R Poston died when his 1951 Studebaker left Route 50 five miles east of Millwood on Paris Mountain Clarke County. He was thrown into a creek and the car demolished. Poston born Aug 16 1935 in Loudoun County was a J P Darlington saw mill employee and survived by family including siblings and step relatives. Funeral set for Monday at Providence Chapel with burial at the churchyard. A second accident on Route 340 near Berryville involved a 1948 Dodge hitting a bridge and stop sign injuring no one. charges filed against driver Goodlow Hicks for illegal brakes.
