Serio-comic Year in Review of 1947 Events
A New York roundup humorously lists 1947’s oddities and notable moments. It names the Siamese Prince Sigha, a 33-year-old Baltimore husband killer, an annulling 69-year-old Californian, a voters’ yes for day movies in Parryville, and a Kodak eye color capacity finding. It notes a Bar Harbor lab fire destroying cats with four ears and extra claws, a giant turnip fertilizer tale, a dangerous new ferocious rabbit, and Luigetti Bellini’s one man strike in Selva Italy.
