Donated Blood Credited with Saving a Life
Thomas H. Seals of Winchester Virginia was crushed by a falling tree and saved by a Red Cross blood transfusion. Dr. J A Miller said the 68 year old tenant farmer rallied after transfusion and later required another. Seals had been exposed to near freezing temperatures before neighbors helped him to a vehicle and hospital. He was a tenant on Mrs M H Reed's farm near Siler.
