Engines Collide Head-on Killing Two Trainmen
Two Missouri Kansas Texas passenger trains collided head on near New Braunfels Texas killing two engineers and injuring nine people. Retirement orchardist Charles Bauserman dies at 74
Charles Casper Bauserman 74, a retired orchardist and farmer near Stephens City, died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a coronary thrombosis. Son of Eramus and Mary Funkhouser Bauserman, he taught school after marrying Martha Clem in 1900, moved to the area in 1915, and served as a director of Frederick County Mutual Fire Insurance Co.
