Veterans jobs promise exceeds delivery say NAB official

The NAB set a June goal after President Nixon urged volunteer executives to aid veterans unemployment. BLS reports November veteran unemployment at 8.2 percent, with 300000 veterans out of work, higher than the 6 percent national rate. NAB says 36000 jobs pledged by Nov 24, while actual placements depend on talk and economy.
