Robert Arthur Larrick, 66, leading farmer merchant and church man of Middletown, died at his home after a long heart ailment and arterial hardening. He leaves a widow and three daughters and was a key figure in local civic and business life for more than a generation. He was born in 1868 at Green Hill Farm, later forming the Little and Larrick mercantile firm in 1919 that served the southern part of the county.
Daisy and Violet Hilton, famed Siamese twins, may apply for a marriage license in Virginia as they plan to perform at the Capitol Theatre tomorrow night. Theatre manager Tom Baldridge said he has asked the attorney general for an opinion on Virginia marriage laws after consults with local officials. The twins arrived in Harrisonburg today from Indianapolis and spoke with Baldridge by telephone.

A party led by Dr C R Anderson and Andrew Bell visited Hyattsville and Laurel Md to study costs for an armory and community center with a market. The plan calls for space for market use an auditorium and drill areas with about 10 000 available from state sources and remaining funds from other sources.
B L Hamman proprietor of Hamman Dollar Store was fined for failing to post cards showing the names of women employees and their hours as required by the state Department of Labor. Hamman argued the list was posted but not up to date and claimed employees did not exceed ten hours. He testified officials gave no chance to explain.
