Three Teens Die After Car Is Hit By Two Trains
ENFIELD N C four four An automobile carrying three teenagers was struck first by a freight train then by a passenger train at a double track Atlantic Coast Line crossing. Three Killed In Head On Crash North Of Berkeley Springs
State Police identified the victims as John Anthony Plyler 71 of Brookville Pa Levin Oliver Zimmerman 61 a Great Cacapon W Va constable and Emma Viola Zimmerman 51 his wife. The crash on U S 522 near the Maryland border occurred as Zimmerman chased a speeding car. Plyler died at War Memorial Hospital after an hour. Emma Zimmerman died en route to hospital while Zimmerman died instantly.
