The Friendship Fire Company elected Rev. S. L. as co chaplain alongside Nav. Banas at the December meeting. Six new members were welcomed: J. M. Blum Marion P. Vanscoy Thomas C. Cooper J. S. Goode H. J. Oates and Clarence Jenkins. An auditing committee was named with Rylana Conner Mitchell Seabright and Wade Guard to report in January. The auxiliary head Mrs. Cora Robinson noted supper proceeds fund two apartment size electric stoves.
