Thanksgiving snow reshapes Blue Ridge Hunt weekend
The twelve inch snowfall over Thanksgiving weekend disrupted Hunts with no Thursday or Saturday events. The Blue Ridge Hunt held a Tuesday meet at Salem Church featuring a large field including Robert Pillion and Edward Durell among others. Social scenes followed with guests in from Washington and New York and the Blue Ridge Hunt Ball drew regional attendees at the George Washington Hotel.
