Bus crash near Goshen kills several and injures many

A collision between a heavily loaded Greyhound bus and a sedan five miles north of Goshen Indiana left at least seven dead and about twenty injured with many more taken to hospitals in Goshen and nearby cities. The bus bound from Chicago to Cleveland overturned on roads 20 and 15. Names identified include A G Carpentier of Iowa City and Mrs James Keleher of Albany with bus attendant Raymond J Ruskin of St Louis.

Death comes to Mrs. F. T. Tilford in hospital here

Mrs. Mary Kownslar Tilford of Clarke county died shortly after 11 this morning at Winchester Memorial Hospital after weeks as a patient. She was in her sixty third year recovering from a severe intestinal influenza last winter. Her sister Miss Janis Moore formerly of Berryville also died August 20 at Toddsbury in Gloucester county Virginia. She was the widow of Frank V. Tilford, a member of a distinguished local family.
