A Taylor Ritter Jr a 25 year old scion of a prominent family was found dead in his second floor bathroom at 314 South Kent Street. A 22 caliber revolver and a suicide note were found. Raymond L. Mattison a World War veteran and farmer’s son from Frederick County died after a brief illness of pneumonia and stomach trouble at age 33. Born in Bellevue Ohio January 19 1896 he served in the 137th Field Remount Squadron and saw action at Argonne and Belleau Wood. He was a charter member of Robert Y.
