Textile workers vote to strike amid war duties plan
The New United Textile Workers vote to strike 50 workers as a war chest action. Gorman of the AFL affiliate says the executive council may call a national strike by 500 textile workers in affiliated industries and seek negotiation with cotton textile manufacturers while avoiding 24 hour notice.
