Death Comes To Respected Negro Community Leader
Arthur Doakes a respected colored man died suddenly at 4 o clock Saturday afternoon while at work on his place near Cedar Hill. He is survived by his wife six children two sisters three uncles and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at Cedar Hill A M E Church at 2 pm. The remains are at Paynter's Funeral Home until 11:30 am tomorrow.
