Major John Baldwin Neill 44 a Clarke county native died at 9 a m in the U S Naval Hospital Washington following appendix surgery after two weeks as a patient. A World War veteran he served in France with the Marine Corps rose to the rank of Captain before a later recall to duty as Major. He is survived by his wife Jean Harris two children John B Neill III and Jean Elizabeth two brothers and his mother. Funeral at Arlington Cemetery Friday at 9:30 A M. He belonged to the Episcopal Church.
