Dog Kills Whole Thieving Family In the Henhouse
Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Wisecarver report a fox terrier killed a mother opossum and ten young opossums in their henhouse after discovering an intruder. The dog’s actions released the young opossums from the mother’s pocket, leading to the entire family’s death. The mother opossum had entered the house through a small aperture, which could have endangered the chickens.
