Virginia reports 19.1 million surplus for 1971 72 fiscal year
Virginia’s state fiscal officers announced a 19.1 million dollar budget surplus for the 1971 72 year ended June 30. Comptroller Ayres and Secretary of Finance Craigie said the administration plans to push for using much of the surplus to raise state employee salaries at the 1973 General Assembly.

Last Combat Infantrymen Going Home
