Crater Lake Reopens After Massive Cleanup and Health scare
Crater Lake National Park in Oregon reopened after a 21 day closure caused by a sewage contamination from a six inch sewer line in the crater rim area. The incident sickened visitors and staff, prompted tanking water tests and army purification units, and led to barricades and a major cleanup of the park water system.
