Near Drowning Rescue After Auto Plunges From Bridge
At Strasburg Virginia yesterday H H Waterman Mrs Winnett Shaver and young Helen Copp Miley escaped death when their car plunged over a culvert into the stream below. They lay entangled for about three quarters of an hour as bystanders failed to see the wreck. Waterman freed himself and shouted for help, while the others suffered injuries including a dislocated knee and head injuries. The car sustained heavy damage including a broken door and mashed radiator.
