Vermont man builds solar and hydro power home
In West Topsham Vermont Charlie Hall erected a 107 foot tower and six solar devices including a solar oven and solar heater to warm his pool by 17 degrees and power his home with a hydro dam. He plans a wind and water powered house with a solar dome for a year round swimming and trout raising facility. Neighbors object to the scale of his experiments as Hall promotes self sufficiency and rural energy independence.
