A head on collision of two double header freight trains north of Rippon West Virginia early this morning destroyed four engines and killed two firemen R E Duke of Bentonville Virginia and F C Jagenn of Luray Virginia. Injured include engineers J F Matthews Ha gerstown Maryland J B Settle Ha gerstown Maryland H O Williamson Ha gerstown and D O Powell Shenandoah Virginia. Wrecking crews worked amid debris and rail traffic may not resume before tomorrow morning as an official inquiry investigates possible engineer error.
