Fire at 11 o clock today destroyed a cement storage building in the city yards. A large amount of cement was damaged but may be saved with immediate use. Firemen halted the Baltimore and Ohio train before noon due to hoses across the track.
At 1 45 this afternoon a second alarm fire was set for the home of A. T. Tinsman at 11 and 13 East Monmouth Street. The blaze started on the second floor near a chimney and is blamed on a defective flue. Water was poured into the buildings, and the fire was put out after heavy smoke and water damage to the entire structure.
