A Saturday bus tour carried 24 Future Farmers of America members from Stephens City and Middletown high schools through the Upper Valley. They visited a snake farm near Edinburg Endless Caverns and Guernsey and Brown Swiss cows and viewed Willis Sharpe Kilmer’s Court Manor. The trip covered 63 miles one way, 126 total, with Prof. A. Wall leading the group.

World economic talks push toward stabilizing currency

Woodson Elder G. E. Woodson Dies After Long Illness

A group of about 15 armed men raided the Needle Traces Workers' Industrial Union at 131 West Twenty eighth street. One man was killed and about ten injured as gunmen opened fire on the crowded second floor.
