Disney World Ambassador to Attend Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival
Miss Sherry Lynn Swets from Walt Disney World will portray the Ambassador from the Nations in the Coronation of Queen Shenandoah XLV May 5 7. She will ride in the Grand Feature Parade May 6 and appear at other Festival events. Swets, 20, born in Baraboo Wisconsin and raised in New Smyrna Beach Florida, joined the Walt Disney World College Relations Program and later worked at the Disney employment center and as an attraction supervisor. Tickets for Coronation and Parade are sold at the George Washington Hotel lobby.

Hoye Lucas Riley 76 of 1351 Valley Ave. Winchester a real estate broker and civic leader died in a Winchester nursing home after nine months as a patient. Born Oct 9 1895 in Augusta West Virginia he moved to Winchester in 1919 and was a World War I veteran. He served on the Winchester City Council and led the Lions Club and Braddock Street Methodist Church. He married Madeline Whitlock on June 14 1933.
