President Harding returned to the White House to a warm greeting from his dog which jumped from a town near and licked his hand. He had played 558 holes of golf during his five week absence on east coast courses and in Augusta, walking about 125 miles as his party members struggled to keep up.
Forty Kiwanians from Alexandria arrived in Winchester this afternoon to be guests of the local club. They will dine at the White Sulphur Inn, tour orchards and battlefields, and return tomorrow after a Berryville escort. The Washington Club donated a loving cup to be presented through Winchester to Harston Club.
The Rev. Walter Mark Depp, pastor of Market Street Methodist Episcopal Church for three years, was appointed pastor at Towson Church. The Rev. I. L. The Ford belonging to Charles Russell stolen from North Market Street last Sunday night was found in an alley off North Kent Street. A resident spotted the vehicle and notified police. Joy riders likely borrowed it briefly before abandoning it.
