Two men, Olden Lewis 26 of Cumberland Maryland and William McCauley 32 formerly of Winchester now Augusta West Virginia, were arrested after fleeing a Northwest grade gas station with ten gallons of fuel. Police fired warning shots as they pursued the car, later stopping near Rouss Spring Park. A .38 revolver and two holsters were found in the vehicle which bore West Virginia plates while Maryland plates were inside. Both suspects were held for investigation.
