Edward De Mars confessed to beating Helen De Mars to death with a hammer in their west Seventy-first Street apartment. He believed money was hidden in her stockings but found none. New York April 5 The murder trials of Henry Judd Gray and Mrs Ruth Snyder were postponed from April 11 to April 18. Gray has secured Edward J Reilley as new counsel, noted as a leading Brooklyn criminal attorney.
The next clinic for cripples will be held in Winchester on Saturday April 9 from 930 a m to 4 p m. Dr Allen Voshell of the University of Virginia Hospital will oversee examinations for residents of Winchester and surrounding northern Virginia counties. Those unable to pay for operations or treatment will be aided by cooperating agencies.
