Gamaliel’s caution on Peter and the apostles
Bible Bits reviews why Gamaliel urged the Sanhedrin to refrain from persecuting Peter and the apostles. He cited Theudas and Judas of Galilee as examples whose movements failed, arguing that if their cause is human it will fail but if from God, resistance would be futile and fighting God. The piece ends with a prayer thought asking for boldness to share their message.
