The 12th Evelyn Mann Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Woodcreek Golf Club on Sunday October 10. Proceeds benefit The American Cancer Society. For the first time two prizes are offered a Lincoln Continental for a hole in one on hole 2 and 1000 dollars for a hole in one on hole 14. The event honors Evelyn Mann a former Wimberley and Woodcreek resident and supports cancer education patient services and transportation in the Wimberley area and nationally.

Early Voting Details for San Marcos Area Elections
Voters may cast ballots at the County Elections Administrator's Office at 401 C Broadway San Marcos from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. Early voting runs Oct 13 to Oct 29 with Saturday sessions Oct 16 and Oct 23 from 10 am to 4 pm. Additional sites include Kyle City Hall Dripping Springs City Hall Wimberley Senior Center and Buda City Hall with varied hours on weekdays and a single Saturday session Oct 23.
