Community Civic Club to support local nonprofits in 1993 drive
The Community Civic Club of Wimberley will host a luncheon at Woodcreek Lodge on Friday October 8 at noon. Proceeds from the Hobby Lobby and Home Tour total 11 665 will be donated to 18 local nonprofits, with 2500 retained for 1993 scholarships to be awarded next May. Jo Ann Cloninger leads the club amid a record year. Ceil Olson and Shirley Marlett promise broad appeal, and Sally DeMasters notes the Home Tour cleared 1 006 64. The club will hear nominating committee updates and program chair Shirley Anderson will present Karen Boden of Sable V Gallery and Future Visions Cultural Arts Center.
