Local man charged with indecency with a child
David Leslie Martin, 63, of Hill Country Ranches in Wimberley, was arrested for indecency with a child the second time yesterday. He posted a $10,000 bond within hours. The charges stem from allegations by two male juveniles ages 12 and 16 who say Martin hired them for odd jobs at his rural home and made sexual advances. He was originally arrested on November 9 after the first 16-year-old reported improprieties to his parents, who notified Hays County Child Sexual Abuse Investigator William Casteel, who is coordinating with Blanco Police and three other families with similar claims. Charges in those cases are pending.
