Bernie Johnson, 57, rides a 3 000 mile coast to coast trek from Saint Augustine Beach Florida to San Diego California. He details cold wet winter days hours of riding and a planned route first established in 1976. He found inspiration from a Maine rider and a church ministry cyclist.

Ralph Albert Patton 83 died Tuesday March 7 1995. Born November 14 1911 in Houston he was a retired Southern Pacific Railroad engineer and 49‑year Mason. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth four daughters and numerous relatives. Masonic graveside services Saturday March 11 at 1:00 p.m. in Wimberley Cemetery with pallbearers named. Donations may be made to Spicewood VFD EMS.
