Pauls conversion and early reception in Damascus
Ananias initially hesitated to visit Saul after the Lord revealed Paul’s change. Ananias obeyed and aided Paul’s sight restoration. Damascus Jews opposed him, prompting a risk to flee with disciples. In Jerusalem, fear and hostility persisted until Barnabas vouched for Paul, ending much of the church’s persecution as peace and growth followed.
