Community raises 70,000 for Visitors Center progress
Building Committee Chair Bill Strong announced the $70,000 goal was reached in a little over four months. He said donations of money, services and items from businesses and residents have reflected strong community pride, with about $15,000 more needed for landscaping, furnishings, and decor to complete the project. A running tab and donor list will be published, with donation forms in each edition until the goal is met.

Art in Progress show this weekend in Woolsey's Courtyard
The Wimberley Valley Art League hosts Art in Progress this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Woolsey's Courtyard across from the Golden Spoon. Gail Stoops says watercolor, oil, pastel, bonsai, jewelry, sculpture and more will be on display with out of town artists invited. The Deans will provide music and admission is free.
