County approves 30 day extension on FEMA deadline
Hays County Commissioners unanimously grant longtime Wimberley resident Bill Johnson an extra 30 days beyond the June 12 FEMA deadline set in a May 13 health department letter. Citizens weigh unitary road system in Hays County
About 25 locals attended a Wimberley EMS open forum Tuesday night to discuss adopting a unitary road system. County Judge Eddy Etheredge and Commissioners Craig Jeannine Pool and Jeff Barton attended. Etheredge advocated a single engineer to oversee roads, while others questioned funding shifts and favored a public vote. The debate noted disparities in precinct road conditions and potential initial funding impacts.
