Hays County Historical Commission chair Jean Shand urges families to submit photographs of veterans in uniform, with full name, rank, service dates, enlistment and discharge, medals, and context. Photos should show the person as a current or former Hays County citizen and be mailed to Mrs. Jean Shand, Route Box 72, Wimberley, TX 78676 or delivered promptly.
