Wimberley historian preserves local life through memories
Bill Johnson catalogs early Wimberley life in first person accounts and historic vignettes. He has collected tapes, letters, photos, and journals from pioneers and descendants, detailing floods, horse racing on the Square, a Cypress Creek camp, and family tragedies. The book Wimberley Deep In The Heart of Texans compiles these stories and is sold locally.
