Take Back Texas protest march at Texas Capitol
Thousands of property owners marched along Congress Avenue in Austin protesting federal power. A plane trail banner read Take Back Texas as about 3,000 voices echoed near the Capitol. The rally, led by Take Back Texas and the Trans Texas Heritage Association, drew riders and vehicles amid historic sculptures and cannons.

WISD adopts budget as bond plans hover over district
Wimberley Independent School District trustees approved a 1994 95 budget of 7.39 million, a six percent rise driven by payroll and transportation costs. They debated a final cost for a new high school with Huckabee and Associates lowering estimates to 5.3 million, potentially rising to 5.8 million with add ons. a 5.95 million bond package would raise about five cents on the tax rate based on a 277 million base.
