County Officials Reflect on Precomputer Records and Modernization
In a county office, Dannelley and colleagues including Treasurer Michelle Tuttle and Tax Assessor-Collector Luanne Caraway recount earlier days of handwritten 19th century ledgers and the shift to computers. TxDOT provided initial equipment linking to state systems, speeding auto title processing, with training from state and local associations. Modernization extends to CD ROM storage, investments education, and ongoing professional development across departments.
