WIN activists energize Wimberley board meeting with bond push
Wimberley voters heard from the new Informed Neighbors group as about 140 supporters packed the admin office to back a bond package for a new high school. Citizens form PAC to back new high school bonds
About 50 residents met Tuesday night to form Wim berley’s Informed Neighbors, a pro bonds PAC led by treasurer Worth Ferguson. Steering members include Melba Miller, David McCall, Tim Thompson, Barbie Campbell, Gene Oldham, Jim Jarl, Jackie Campbell, and Lloyd Adams. Sara Davis said the goal is a new high school, noting current seven through twelve grades overflow the 450-student junior high built by Hays district.
