Wholesome Junk Band and Faggeaux Brothers Entertain Texas
The Wholesome Junk Band with Carmen and Monroe Faggeaux perform satirical music across Texas including The Topaz Lounge and a San Antonio football halftime. They feature Carmen's baritone ukulele and Monroe’s Boombass Recoiling Acoustical Junk with comic interludes. Leo Faggeaux died on stage in Dibol, Texas, and is remembered by the group. Woodcreek Community Theatre opens with two Tennessee Williams one acts at Woodcreek Amphitheatre on September 27 with repeat performances and admission at $1 adults $.50 under 16. A movie for children is planned in the Recreation Building.
