Train New Attraction At Wim berley 7-A Ranch
Avey Plastics begins preliminaries on a scale model locomotive for 7-A Ranch in Wimberley. Owners Roy and Ray Avey draw on family railway ties and original SP 173 blueprints built in 1873. The gas‑driven engine will run on a 24 gauge track with a 56½ inch standard gauge, starting at Pioneer Town and traversing a canyon and Blanco River views, with possible later steam conversion.
