4 H Horse Club Meet Years of Activity and Growth
The 4 H Horse Club began in spring 1963 founded by Claude Johnson and Marsha Fowler. It started with 21 members from Wimberley and grew to include groups from San Marcos and Dripping Springs by 1965. The club now has 21 families and a history of sponsors with 1969 officers led by Mrs Larry Fowler and Tina Williams. Activities span January to July with Play days and various shows. Parents set a work schedule for all events and chairmen lead each session.
